Learn how to add custom fields for reviews to your book pages. Showcase star ratings and feedback to convert more visitors into readers.
Displaying reader reviews on your book pages is a powerful way to boost credibility and encourage visitors to pick up your titles. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to create custom fields for reader reviews using the Group field type in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). By showcasing star ratings, review titles, and detailed feedback, you can provide potential readers with the social proof they need to make a purchase. This feature adds authenticity and engagement to your author website while maintaining a clean, professional layout.
Go back and edit the Books Field Group inside ACF and add a new field.
Just like we did with the Other Retailer buttons we are going to duplicate the Reader Reviews Group to avoid having to manually recreate everything two more times.
With all these new field we can go and add some test reviews to our Adventure Danger post and save the draft.
