Introduction

A custom header is a key element in crafting a professional author website that captures attention and enhances user navigation.

The header and footer for our author website are essential navigation areas to have in place BEFORE we start building out the rest of our website. It is going to make it much easier to check our work in progress and visualise how our overall site will appear to visitors.

Add a New Header

  • From the WordPress Admin Dashboard
  • go to Breakdance > Headers
  • Add new header
  • I’ll name it MH001 but call it whatever you like.
  • Location is everywhere.
  • No conditions
  • Priority 1
  • Click Save

Back in the Headers dashboard Check the Header Template is set to active and we are done.
